Newly renovated & reasonably large room, with floor to ceiling windows, free WiFi, and a kettle. Excellent and stunning location, a 10-15 minute walk from Szechenyi Chain Bridge.

Friendliness/Politness and helpfullness of staff (bar one person but managed to bypass her)
There was nothing we did not like about this hotel except we would have liked "hot water" in the shower. It was warm to tepid.

The view over the Danube from our room was amazing. The hotel staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfasts were the best we have ever had (although very busy). Our room was very comfortable and most of the major city sights are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was the meeting poiint for our Scenic Tours European River Cruise.
The hotel was great, but beware of the taxi drivers that approach you as you disembark at the train station and charge exorbitant prices for a fairly short ride!

The staff were most helpful and genuinely appeared to love their work.all our requests were met with a smile and no fuss from "no problem" early check in, to "no problem " late check out 5pm.We arranged various activities through the hotel which were arrange without fuss or confusion. The breakfast was sumptious and and a very varied and exciting choice of food foer all tastes.all rooms overlook the Danube and the room windows are pamoramic.we will definitely return to Budapest and stay at Marriott. Its location on Bank of Danube is perfectly located for all activities and shopping and sightseing...to the last detail of a special "limousine" to transfer to airport it was waiting long before time to ensure prompt arrival at airport.......
no.....met all our expectations and considerable improvement over other Marriott Hotels we have visited in Europe

amazing views and easy walks to major sights
I was blown away by the fine view of the castle and the Danube from my room, and the central location allowed me to easily stroll to nearby landmarks like St Stephen's Basilica and the charming Fisherman's Bastion without breaking a sweat. As a solo traveler, I appreciated having the M-Lounge for a cozy dining experience right at my fingertips, offering delicious breakfasts to fuel my adventures. But the hotel's exterior could use a little sprucing up to match the beauty inside.

The location of this hotel was excellent. Much was reached within walking distance. Couldn't ask for a better view of the river and castle on Buda side. It definitely met up to our expectations. We took the advantage of using the executive package and got excellent breakfast as well as evening snacks/drinks and access to the roof top. The setting was perfect.
The hotel could not accommodate for our request of one room for family with two adults and two children under age of 11. We booked two rooms, but would have liked to have a connecting door between rooms.

Location is great with a panoramic view of the Danube from all rooms. Plenty of activity along the pedestrian walk along the river in back of the hotel
Can be a bit hectic at times with many passengers from Danube cruise ships checking in and out.
